About Us

We are a family run business.  Jim Quaschnick is the owner and lead photographer.  His wife, Ruth, the office manger. His son, James, is lead editor and part time photographer.  Jim has been a professional photographer since 1985, his work has appeared in numerous publications including; Sports Illustrated, The Sporting News, Swim Magazine, ESPN the magazine as well as appearing within books, video games, newspapers, and more.

All Action Shots was created in 2004.  Since opening, we have quickly become very popular with groups that require and appreciate a higher quality standard in sports photography then what's traditionally been available.   As we've grown, we've hired only professional photographers that share our high quality standards and passion for making the best images possible.  Our knowledge of many sports and our passion for making exceptional photographs shows in our work. 

We use only top of the line "professional" series equipment, never consumer or prosumer grade gear.  This gives us a huge advantage in image quality, durability and the flexibility of the types of events and conditions we can shoot in, e.g., low light, bad weather, etc..  

We are based in Central California making it relatively easy for us to travel the entire state.  We are able to travel just about anywhere for larger events, and do so regularly.  If you are outside California and have a large event you would like us to cover, give us a call and we'll do our best to accommodate.
